SEVEN SOULS FRUIT FESTIVAL : 27 - 31 JANUARY 2014

UP COMING EVENT: Wow, another brilliant event coming your way ! InsyaAllah, we (ISRAK) are working hard to bring you an even more exciting FRUIT FESTIVAL experience in this January, the Durians and Rambutans are looking good! We should have some delicious fresh sweet fruits ready soon - it's sure to be the best around.

ISRAK, will be collaborating with another 6 societies to organize a mega programme, THE SEVEN SOULS starting from 27 of January (Monday) - 31 January (Friday). Our programme coordinators for this event are Luqman Suzaili together with Nur Fadhilah bt Miszairi as the Treasurer.

Furthermore, the Society involved in this programme include :

-IQRA

-ISRAK :)

As mentioned before, ISRAK was given this golden oppurtunity to conduct once a famous healthy project : THE FRUIT FESTIVAL, which will be on flow from 28 of January - 31 of January 2014.

Improvements all around are starting to really come together nicely. 2014's CFSIIUM FRUIT FESTIVAL is going to be even better than last years if you can believe that! Preparation :

Hadi & Munirah (PM & APM) - Updating the prograss of each unit

Fadhilah & Hakimah (Catering) - Surveying the fruits (price, qty etc)

Afiq, Hilman & Athoillah (Prep & Tech) - Preparing the floor plan, booking the tents and tables from STAD

Shaikh, Luqman & Najwa (SpeTa) - Preparing the booth for selling cuppons

Idham, Kamal, Amalina & Dalila (PC & Pubpro) - Publishing Posters, brochures and coupons

Muhsin (Treasurer) - Manage monetary

NAME OF PROGRAMME: FRUIT FESTIVAL 2014

THEME: YAWM AL-FAWAQIH

VENUE: PARKING LOT, CFS IIUM

TARGETED GROUP: CFS IIUM'S STUDENTS (500)

ORGANISING COMMITTEES: REFER THE APPENDIX ABOVE

OBJECTIVES:

1. TO MAKE STUDENTS REALIZE ABOUT THE IMPORTANT OF ISLAMIC KNOWLEDGE ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS RELATED TO MUSLIM'S FAITH OF BELIEF.

2. TO ADD SENSE OF GRATEFULNESS TOWARDS UMMAH BY NOURISHING THE REALISATION VALUE ON THE ABUNDANCE OF BOUNTIES HAVE BEEN GIVEN BY ALLAH NOWADAYS.

3. TO IMPLEMENT THE CONCEPT OF BROTHERHOOD AND STRENGTHEN THE RELATIONSHIP AMONG CFS IIUM STUDENTS.

FRUIT FESTIVAL @ CFS IIUM

From 26 February 2013 till 28 February 2013, Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage Students Society had been organized FRUIT FESTIVAL programme at CFS IIUM. This was the first programme held at CFS IIUM. The objective of the programme was to introduce the types of fruits in Malaysia. Besides that, the objective was to strengthen the brotherhood among students of CFS IIUM, lecturers and staffs. This programme get a good response from the people in CFS IIUM. Sometimes the committees need to close the booth because the lack of fruits. To enter this festival, they need to pay RM 5 and then they can enjoy all fruits they want.

The types of fruit provided for this festival were durians, apples, oranges, watermelons, guavas, papayas and many more. They are allowed to eat inside this festival only. It was forbidden to bring out the fruits outside the festival.
