ISRAK CFSIIUM

        Assalamualaikum guys..insyaAllah today we will describe to you one more of our activities held in 2013, which is Muslim Geographic Week. This event is the collaboration between most of the societies in CFS IIUM, held as what had been introduced and encouraged by our former Prime Minister, Tun Dr Sri Mahathir Mohamad. It is held at every chosen universities in Malaysia in conjunction to help those who are in need especially in Rohingya, Syria and Palestin.



   
   There were many activities that had been held back then, in collaboration of the main organization, Facilitator Representative Commitees (FRC) and other societies. There some talks, flashmobs that had been held throughout the week at the Central Spine. IRKHSS in collaboration with FRC had held a talk entitled 'Gaza Aku Datang, Israel Aku Perang.' This talk was dellivered by Imam Muda Asyraf, the winner of the first season of Imam Muda reality program,Tuan Syed Radhi (President of Aqsa Syarif) and the moderator, akh Fikri Nawawi.



The talk had been held in a very splendid and harmonious feeling. Those speakers were very incredible,they exposed to us mostly about the conditions of Muslims there. Alhamdulillah, we had gained a lot of benefits from them. May Allah bless all of us. On 4-5th September 2012, IRKHSS also had organized ISRAK WEEK which consists of two events ; a talk on comparative religion and a raya gathering which had give a big impact to the CFS's students especially IRK's students.

    The talk on the comparative religion was delivered by a few of experts in their own religions, most of them have embraced into Islam. We also had invited a non-muslim to our event, his name is Alex. He somehow shared his opinion about how other people's views on Islam. The talk was very interesting and filled with knowledge but challenging as well.



   On the other hand, Raya Gathering was held in a very huge hall,called as Al-Malik Faisal Hall,in a such happy mood, involving all of the students of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage course. We were vary happy back then, changing opinions, eating together, taking pictures and other interesting activities as well. Despite of all that, we also had been entertained by our qasidah group; Soutul Israk with various of fabulous songs that remembered us to our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. On 2 March 2013, Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage Students Society (ISRAK) had organized "SLAUGHTERING WORKSHOP" in collaboration with PERKIM CLUB CFS IIUM. This programme was held at Smawp 3 building. The objective of this programme was to explain to the students of CFS IIUM about slaughtering clearly. To achieve this objective, we provide two session which were theory and practical.

Besides that, the other objective of this programme was to strengthen the brotherhood among students of CFSIIUM. The programme started at 9.30 am. we had invited Ustaz Muhammed Shouib bin Awalludin from "SEKSYEN PENGURUSAN HALAL SELANGOR, JABATAN AGAMA ISLAM SELANGOR (JAIS). He is the assistant officer for this department. Before doing the practical session, he explain briefly about slaughtering. Then, at 10.30 am, the practical session started. After all of the Chickens slaughtered, we manage the chickens together preparing for BBQ session at 5 pm.

At 7.30 pm, we did a maghrib prayer together. After that, they had been showed with some videos. After Isya' prayer, we ate the dinner together.

The Committees of Slaughtering Workshop 2013

From 26 February 2013 till 28 February 2013, Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage Students Society had been organized FRUIT FESTIVAL programme at CFS IIUM. This was the first programme held at CFS IIUM. The objective of the programme was to introduce the types of fruits in Malaysia. Besides that, the objective was to strengthen the brotherhood among students of CFS IIUM, lecturers and staffs. This programme get a good response from the people in CFS IIUM. Sometimes the committees need to close the booth because the lack of fruits. To enter this festival, they need to pay RM 5 and then they can enjoy all fruits they want.

The types of fruit provided for this festival were durians, apples, oranges, watermelons, guavas, papayas and many more. They are allowed to eat inside this festival only. It was forbidden to bring out the fruits outside the festival.
