On 2 March 2013, Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage Students Society (ISRAK) had organized "SLAUGHTERING WORKSHOP" in collaboration with PERKIM CLUB CFS IIUM. This programme was held at Smawp 3 building. The objective of this programme was to explain to the students of CFS IIUM about slaughtering clearly. To achieve this objective, we provide two session which were theory and practical.
Besides that, the other objective of this programme was to strengthen the brotherhood among students of CFSIIUM. The programme started at 9.30 am. we had invited Ustaz Muhammed Shouib bin Awalludin from "SEKSYEN PENGURUSAN HALAL SELANGOR, JABATAN AGAMA ISLAM SELANGOR (JAIS). He is the assistant officer for this department. Before doing the practical session, he explain briefly about slaughtering. Then, at 10.30 am, the practical session started. After all of the Chickens slaughtered, we manage the chickens together preparing for BBQ session at 5 pm.
At 7.30 pm, we did a maghrib prayer together. After that, they had been showed with some videos. After Isya' prayer, we ate the dinner together.
