SLAUGHTERING WORKSHOP @ CFS IIIUM
On 2 March 2013, Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage Students Society (ISRAK) had organized "SLAUGHTERING WORKSHOP" in collaboration with PERKIM CLUB CFS IIUM. This programme was held at Smawp 3 building. The objective of this programme was to explain to the students of CFS IIUM about slaughtering clearly. To achieve this objective, we provide two session which were theory and practical.
Besides that, the other objective of this programme was to strengthen the brotherhood among students of CFSIIUM. The programme started at 9.30 am. we had invited Ustaz Muhammed Shouib bin Awalludin from "SEKSYEN PENGURUSAN HALAL SELANGOR, JABATAN AGAMA ISLAM SELANGOR (JAIS). He is the assistant officer for this department. Before doing the practical session, he explain briefly about slaughtering. Then, at 10.30 am, the practical session started. After all of the Chickens slaughtered, we manage the chickens together preparing for BBQ session at 5 pm.
At 7.30 pm, we did a maghrib prayer together. After that, they had been showed with some videos. After Isya' prayer, we ate the dinner together.

FRUIT FESTIVAL @ CFS IIUM
From 26 February 2013 till 28 February 2013, Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage Students Society had been organized FRUIT FESTIVAL programme at CFS IIUM. This was the first programme held at CFS IIUM. The objective of the programme was to introduce the types of fruits in Malaysia. Besides that, the objective was to strengthen the brotherhood among students of CFS IIUM, lecturers and staffs. This programme get a good response from the people in CFS IIUM. Sometimes the committees need to close the booth because the lack of fruits. To enter this festival, they need to pay RM 5 and then they can enjoy all fruits they want.
The types of fruit provided for this festival were durians, apples, oranges, watermelons, guavas, papayas and many more. They are allowed to eat inside this festival only. It was forbidden to bring out the fruits outside the festival.

ANNUAL GRAND MEETING ISRAK 2012/2013
On 10 July 2012, Israk Committees for session 2011/2012 had organized Israk Annual Grand Meeting for choosing a new committee members for session 2012/2013. This program had been organized at al-Malik Faisal Hall, CFSIIUM, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Our Advisor, Ustaz Kasim bin Ramli had launched this program. In his speech, he advice all members of ISRAK to speak english and arabic always either in lectures or programs. It is because by speaking english and arabic constantly, we can improve our understanding in english and arabic. Besides that, he reminds the new committee members to organize the new programs and take a good care for this society.
After the launching ceremony of Israk Annual Grand Meeting, all nominees for Israk Committee 2012/2013 were given an opportunity to explain their manifesto and promise to all members of Israk Society. Then, the members of Israk Society will choose the suitable committee for becoming the new committee of Israk Society.
Before the announcement of new committee members of Israk Society, Soutul Israk had performed a Qasidah Performance entitled ya badratim, ya imamar rusli ya sanadi, ahlan wasahlan binnabi and ya khaira maulud.

InsyaAllah for this first post, I as a head of publication and information would like to write to all of you about this society in general.
Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage Students Society (ISRAK) was an academic based society in Centre for Foundation Studies of International Islamic University of Malaysia (CFSIIUM), Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This society lay under the two departments. There are Department Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (IRKHSS) and Department of Art.
The members of this society was the students that taking Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage (IRK) courses in this PJ campus. The main learning subject for this courses is about Islamic Teaching. We learn in Arabic Language. By using Arabic Language, we will understand the subject clearly and we can improve our language in Arabic. As a Muslim, we must learn Arabic language because it is the language of Quran. We can understand the Quran when we read it. InsyaAllah.
These are the list of subject that we will learn in Arabic when entering this course:

-MADKHAL ILA AL-AQIDAH AL-ISLAMIYYAH

Then the five bureaus lying under the mainboard which is Education and Training Bureau, Publication and Information Bureau, Discipline and Welfare Bureau, Sports and Recreation Bureau and Entrepreneurship Bureau.
